REMEMBERING WILDLIFE
Each Remembering Wildlife book is dedicated to an endangered species and features stunning images donated by the world's finest wildlife photographers. Every book is prefunded through a Kickstarter campaign, which means production costs are covered before a single copy is printed.
This model ensures that 100% of profits go directly to conservation projects supporting the species featured in each title. They don't ask for donations (though they do accept them if approached) — they sell you something beautiful and promise that every penny of profit protects the species we all love.
All photographers, writers, and designers donate their work. Margot personally selects the conservation projects to receive funding, prioritising grassroots organisations working on the frontlines of wildlife protection across Africa and Asia.

The Voices for the Vanishing audiobook is a collection of essays and introductions from the 10 books in the Remembering Wildlife series. The audiobook officially launches on Tuesday 3 March 2026 – World Wildlife Day.
Each chapter is narrated by Remembering Wildlife founder and producer Margot Raggett MBE. Wildlife presenter Gordon Buchanan MBE, a regular contributor to the Remembering Wildlife books, has recorded a special introduction.
Voices for Vanishing is a spoken companion to the popular visual books in the Remembering Wildlife series. Each chapter offers insight into a particular species under threat, the challenges they face, and the extraordinary efforts being made to ensure they are not lost forever.
The audiobook (length: 5hrs and 45mins) is available on Audible, Spotify, Apple Books and wherever you listen to audiobooks.
MARGOT RAGGET MBE
Margot Raggett is a British wildlife photographer, conservationist, and the founder of Remembering Wildlife. In 2014, while on safari in Northern Kenya, she witnessed a poached elephant — an experience that changed her life and set her on a mission to make a tangible difference for endangered species.
Determined to take action, Margot asked fellow photographers to contribute images to a fundraising book. The response was overwhelming and unanimous — and Remembering Elephants, the first in what would become a landmark series, was born.
Margot was awarded an MBE (Member of the Order of the British Empire) for services to wildlife conservation. She has united the global wildlife photography community, with over 300 photographers donating images across the series.
Under her leadership, Remembering Wildlife has donated over £1.26 million to 80+ conservation projects across 35 countries, sold more than 60,000 books, and inspired a new model of conservation fundraising worldwide.
